Steps to Create Private Key
Step 1 – Sign-in to the cPanel account.
Step 2 – Go to the “Security” section and opt for “SSL/TLS” from the drop-down menu.
Step 3 – Now, you have to click on Private Key or KEY.
Step 4 – Afterward, click on generate your private key.
Step 5 – You need to input a description under the Description Box. As well as, make sure the key size of 2048 bits.
Step 6 – Press Generate for cPanel to create key. On the screen, the key will appear.
Steps to Create Certificate Signing Request
Step 1 – After creating a Private Key, you need to click on SSL/TLS again.
Step 2 – Now, opt for the Select Certificate Signing Requests from the drop-down menu.
Step 3 – Now, click on Generate / View / Delete SSL Certificate Signing Request to proceed further.
Step 4 – Enter the description.
